Aces – Dushan Ruzic will come up against his former side – as will Josh Tols – after a solid opening weekend display. Ruzic allowed one run on six hits in five innings in his start against Perth.

What you need to know:

  • The Aces went 7-23 against the Bite at Norwood Oval. Will they perform better at Adelaide’s new home?
  • Adelaide is 2-4 in home openers

Series prediction

History is against the Aces heading to Adelaide, but it was hard not to be impressed by their series win over Perth in round one. The Bite were thumped in game one and left too many runners on base. Had they taken chances they could have split with Sydney on the road.

Expect a tight affair with plenty of history between these sides and a couple of players having swapped colours.

Series split 2-2
